D'uh, Dad!
Outta' the mouths of yunguns...
Our oldest daughter is really into My Little Pony
right now. She has two of them and talks endlessly about them. She sleeps with
them and takes them with her if we allow
it.
We went out to eat tonight and
while we were snackin' on chips at a Mexican restaurant before the meal came,
she was pretending to feed chips to her
ponies.
"Look Daddy! My ponies love to
eat chips."
Playing along, I asked her
if her ponies liked to eat salsa,
too.
"No. If I did that I'd spill salsa
on them and they'd get dirty. They aren't real, you
know."
